The Northeast is lucky to play host to a number of thriving ski clubs that make use of both snow and artifical slopes in the area. Learn more about our member clubs here.
Ravens Ski Club
The City of Sunderland Ravens Ski Club is Northeast England's premier ski racing club. Founded in 1975 the club has produced many talented athletes and provided competitive enjoyment for countless others.
Ravens’ members enjoy exclusive use of the Main Silksworth Ski slope on a Wednesday evening between 7 and 9 pm. The club is open to all skiers who can perform linked plough turns from the top of the main ski slope.
For many years Ravens Ski Club, in partnership with Silksworth Ski Centre, Sunderland, has hosted regular regional and national competitions as well as inter-school open competitions and events for absolute beginners.
Tigers Ski Club
Tigers ski club in Sunderland is a recreational development and racing ski club based at Silksworth Ski Slope, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for the training, coaching and education of adults and children throughout the North East.
Tyneside Loipers is an outdoor activity club whose main interest is cross country and nordic skiing in its various forms. The club regularly host the north east regional round of the British series of roller ski race.
Weardale Ski Club
Weardale Ski Club is a "not for profit" organisation which has run since 1963 offering real snow skiing in Northeast England.
Allenheads Ski Club
Based on the edge of the Northumbrian village of Allenheads, we offer ecellent skiing and boarding whenever there is snow.
